About Me
My name is Phil DiGiacomo. I am an ER doctor, husband, and father who burned out after practicing for ten years. For most of my career, I was looking for a way out so that I could recover from my moral injury and return to being the optimistic person I once was. The thing is, I had a VERY hard time finding non-clinical jobs I was qualified for, and that met my salary requirements as the breadwinner for my family. Throughout the years I have held many different non-clinical jobs and along the way I became a certified coach to better help my clients.
I am also married to a physician who works a non-clinical remote job writing CME content for other doctors. I have been working as a reviewing medical director for an insurance company for the past 3 years and during that time I have had so many of my physician colleagues reach out to learn about the non-clinical jobs that exist, and how they can transition away from patient care like I did. It is for this reason I created my career services to help people like you seek a new career path.

The coaching that I offer is a blend of coaching, mentoring, and career finding. I go beyond traditional career coaching. During our time together, I get to learn about your unique journey, skills, interests, and story. My expertise in the non-clinical world allows me to help guide you on your journey away from the bedside. I also have important skills that I have honed over the years that will help you find jobs that you want.

My "Why":
I am an innate teacher and coach who is driven by the desire to educate and help physicians who are looking for non-clinical jobs. I have created products that I needed when I was desperate to leave clinical practice. I offer an online course, resume writing guide, and personalized career coaching to help get you to your next job.

"The value of this course cannot be understated because it addresses an area of genuine need. There is a lack of readily available resources for physicians looking to pivot into nonclinical positions. This course provided not only an excellent, succinct breakdown of a variety of nonclinical roles, but also provided actionable steps to take in pursuit of them."
Dr. M.C., Family Medicine
"I just wanted to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation for taking time out of your day to meet with us last evening. I can honestly say that we both got a lot out of the discussion. It was therapy. Unless you’ve been in the trenches as a physician, you have no idea what it’s like, and having someone like you providing guidance and direction is priceless. Maybe your next move is motivational speaking, or psychiatry!"
Dr. R.L., Family Medicine
"Thank you so much, this [course] was very informative."
